Custom-Cut Rug Pads
Not only is the rug padding at Klean Rug of Raleigh able to be custom cut to fit the shape of your area rugs, it is long lasting and environmentally responsible too!
Our rug pads are washable, made from 100% recycled materials, and are 100% recyclable.They are odor-free, are non-toxic, non-allergenic, and will not stain your flooring over time. If you have radiant heat floors, they’re safe for that too!
To help protect your floors from the damaging effects of pet urine stains, two of our rug pads even offer a Pet Urine Barrier!

Stain & UV Protection
If spills, high traffic areas, and pets are a concern in your home, a professional strength fiber protection treatment applied to your fine area rugs will go a long way to reduce the kind of permanent discoloration that these problems can cause.
Klean Rug of Raleigh uses a solvent-based fiber protector made for use on all fiber types without any risk of rapid resoiling, texture change, dye bleed, or discoloration. Our protector bonds quickly and evenly, delivering stain and UV protection to every fiber of your area rugs.
In general, fiber protection treatments work best on new or newly cleaned rugs. Be sure to re-apply after every professional cleaning.
Wool Rug Revitalizer

Moth Identification & Treatment
Be on the lookout for classic red-flag signs of an active moth infestation if you own wool or silk area rugs or other textiles. If you see any of the following, please give us a call right away!!
- Odd bare spots or missing fibers
- Tiny beige flying moths
- Small white larvae
- White webbing or cocoons
Your rugs will be contained and taken back to our rug care center to be treated and deep-cleaned if we can confirm a live moth infestation. After they have been cleaned, we will talk with you about any visible moth damage that may need repairing.
Once we have removed your area rugs for cleaning, it is strongly recommended that you contact a pest control company to assess your home for further moth treatment.
Wrapping & Storage
We will call you to set up delivery once the work on your area rugs has been completed. Unless storage has been pre-arranged with us, your rugs must be returned to you within 30 days from the date of our call to you. Storage fees are assessed per rug, per month.
Area rugs being stored with us must first be washed, treated with a moth repellant, and then properly wrapped.
