Frequently Asked Questions
What should I do if I think my rug has moths?
Wool moths are beige in color and are very tiny. They look nothing like the moths that are attracted to your porch light. They eat the proteins found in wool and silk fibers. The more undisturbed an area with a food source, the better! Even if you don’t see moths flying around your home, they leave some tell-tale signs on your rugs like live larvae, webbing or cocoons, gritty sand-like moth eggs, and odd holes or patches of missing fibers.
It can be difficult to get rid of moths once they appear, but we’re here to help! If you think you have a moth problem in your home, call us right away. We’ll remove your rugs for treatment before the exterminator arrives to treat your home.
